Advent Week 4 |Love|

This is the last week of advent and its Love: The love of god for mankind. We are just 1 day away from christmas eve. Wow december is a month which flys by fast! Everything have been going good for me and the love of christmas is all around. Just stay happy always and enjoy the season of christmas and also new year. Don't worry about anything, keep your minds clear and stay happy.

Keep Walking n Shopping

Yesterday Edward, Raju, Aaron, Russell,Mark and me went for a walk n shop around town. It was a great day. Town was packed as usual, but nothing stopped us from shopping. Brought all my presents for the boys and left town in the evening and headed to TM to shop awhile more. Wow its the first time i have been walking like for the whole day!!! I don't know how you girls do it. At last i am done with all my shopping. Now lets await Christmas :)

Camp 2007

Ones again we had our annual altar servers camp on 16th,17th and 18th of DEC and i have to say i am surprised that things run out well. (not as well as the previous camps thou) It was great... Everyone had alot of fun, enjoyed them self and hope they did get to know their group members and had a great bonding with them. I was touched with the boys on getting me a birthday cake and celebrating my birthday with me. Thank you all for everything. There is still room for improvements for the young leaders and some of them are just too playful and being a normal server would be the best choice.

Advent Week 3 |Joy|

Here we are in the 3rd week of advent season and its Joy(Pink) which Symbolizes joy of the promise is to be fulfilled. It is just 1 week away from Christmas! Wow that's fast. Yes now backtracking abit. I was away on a vacation and it was a great holidays did enjoy myself. Had a great bonding with my family members and relatives during this vacation. Days just past so fast that i did not even realise i am back here right now in front of my com updating my blog about my vacation. Days past fast.

1 more day!

Yes here it is ones again... Holidays!!! 1 more day of school and i am unofficially on holidays (own leave). Wednesday i am off playing soccer in CSC with the priest if the weather is sunny and will be on holidays from Thursday till Sunday. School is suppose to close on Friday but u all know its the season of Christmas and yes i am in the mood of Christmas and holidays! Will be a busy week as i got church camp ones i get back from holidays on the same date. Wow.

Advent Week 2 |Peace|

This weekend its week 2 of advent and its peace: The Peace that is to come and yes of cos this is a much awaited week for me as holidays are about to start and its just 2 weeks away from Christmas!!! Have been busy this past few days with the servers camp skit. Hope it would turn out well and had a great day yesterday. Went to ECP for a surprise birthday party for my friend, misnah who just turned 18th. It was a day of fun and we all had a great time. Today had skit practice again. Next week is the much awaited camp and of cos before the camp i am off for a vacation. :)

Advent week 1 |Hope|

Here we are in the month of December and yes, yesterday morning i followed my dad in the morning to help out cleaning church and putting up the deco's for Christmas as there was alot of things to be done. It have been sometime since i have followed him. I enjoyed myself as we were hanging the bells and lights. Everyone was cracking some joke and the atmosphere was full of laughter and happiness. When we are done the willing hands went to uncle David's house for lunch n Christmas party as he will not be around for Christmas.

It is also the time of advent and the first candle which represents Hope which means A time of expection & Hope was lit up during the evening mass and the upcoming mass on sundays. There is still 3 more candles Peace,Joy and Love to be lit before Christmas arrives.

The Hitman.

School ended early yesterday, i made my way to Cathay to catch the movie Hit man with my cousin and his friends. When i got there it was raining heavily and the movie was about to start in like 5min's. We started to run from Plaza Singapura to Cathay as it was getting late and was all drenched when we got there. It is the first time i was watching a movie all drenched and yes i have to say it was an action packed movie, shooting and fighting throughout the movie.If you are a person who likes action go and watch it. If you are under 16 than i am sorry u cant watch the show. Its NC 16 hehe. After the show we went to have our dinner and wrapped our day off playing LAN. A great day i had even thought it was raining so heavily.

Radio Academy

YES!!! finally its here again.. 987fm proudly presents the Radio Academy 2007. I was just so excited like never before. I went to the website and the dates i saw was from Dec 17th till 21st December. I was free on those days and was all ready to register myself. Informed my parents about it yesterday i went to the website again and to my profound amazement the dates changed from 17Dec to 13th Dec till 19th Dec. I was so shocked as i would be on holidays from 13th till the 16th of Dec. It is a academy i really wanted to go as i LOVE music alot and of cos dj-ing. Maybe it might not be thing year but i will be going for the Academy the following year. Seriously this is 1 of the worse feeling i ever had, you all should know how it feels when you want something badly and realise that u will never get it so soon. AGGGG!!! feels like crap when i talk about it but just had to share it in my blog.

Confirmation Mass

Last week a few of our servers got confirmed and that was the second confirmation mass we had in a year. That was the batch of con 3 students who got confirmed. Wish all our con 3 students a happy confirmation.

It have been more than a month since i have updated my blog. Have been real busy this month and yes everything seem to be alrite. Just that its the month of november and soon christmas will be around... :)

Alvin's 21st Birthday

Have been long since i have blogged, been real busy... Last saturday was my cousin's 21st birthday and we celebrated it at strangoon counrty club. Everyone was enjoying ourself and it was a great day.

Wat would i say?

I was off to church yesterday evening to serve mass. Before i carry on i had this feeling that i would lose my e-z link card and had this feeling 3 times over a month.. i just did not bother about it.. but yesterday, i lose my card and i got no idea how did i lose it.. I find it damn strange and funny.. What is this called.. Have to make a new card now...haix.. things happen.
I still find it real strange........ speechless

A Birthday Party

The month of September.. Alot of my friends birthday are around the conor in this month. Yesterday we celebrated Dexter birthday at Christopher's house.. We went there after the 12:30pm mass. Had lunch there and watched Evan Almighty. A great day and everyone did enjoyed them self. Tomorrow will be noel's birthday... As i said a famous month~

Youth Rally 2007

It was the first time attending a rally and it was fun. 10 of us went for the youth rally yesterday night at Novena Church and even thought the weather was threatening the responds was great. There were youths all around singapore gathered at novena church yesterday. Fr simon pereira gave a short talk and the blessed sacrament was exposed. We had hyme singing and the night went well with a cool wind. It ended at 10pm. I was thinking what am i doing there.. i never thought it would be so fun and enjoyable.

Monday Blues

Yes yes, its Monday again. Hope to have a great week as exams are over. Got to be in school in an hour time for just 1 lesson. Will be heading to novena church later in the evening for the youth rally with the servers. 4 more days till my long vocation starts. I am off for school now. Holidays.....here i comeeeeeee.

Final goodbye.

A lot of things happened this past week, i lost a good class mate of mine in an accident just 2 days ago. I was shocked to hear the news. I just have to accept the fact that he is gone even thought its real hard. A good friend a good brother to everyone around him. He will be remembered.

Test Week.

Holidays are around the Conor but before holidays starts, there is always a Exam week. I am glad i am not having exams and just class test. Having 4 test this week and a project to hand in. Done with project and yet to start the class test. Cant wait for Friday to come by. Holidays.... here i come =)

ME Teambuilding Seminar 2007

Had a great day today.. Went to sentosa and kallang sea sports with my class. There were no one in sentosa on a weekday and this is my first time seeing it like that. We had some games and than we played Amazing Race as an team building activity. We had lunch in sentosa and went to KSS for dragon boating. Its not my first time dragon boating tho. 20 ppl per boat and including the instructor will be 21. Its not about using your strength to go forward, all which matters is about team work. There were 4 classes, 5 boats and my class came in first. Thats how coperative we are. Had a tiring day but yes enjoyed the activities.

Very well...I enjoyed the whole movie....Caught the movie with some friends, spend all the time laughing .... I never did liked the Simpson's at all, guess i changed my mind after the movie... Wat i like in the movie is the pig even thought it did not make any sense at all, coming out of nowhere.

What would I say

I don't have much to say or i would rather say no comments.
This month have been a slow going month for me... School have been good for me but..........

I Went to church for society meeting today, and YES alot of things have been changed.. For example, they did not start meeting with a prayer. Number of servers attending the meeting have been less than 20 boys. The older ones are no longer there. Now you got to keep your cassock in church and i do not like the idea at all. We also have a new system of if you come for extra mass you are to be rewarded with points and if you don't turn up for mass your points will be deducted. It was never a bad idea of having this system but they put it in a way that you will be rewarded E.g: PSP and if come for extra masses u will be awarded extra points and all.. I think this is all FOS. cause the image they show to the servers are different, they put it in a way that the boys would come to serve for PSP and not for God. The whole reason for serving have been misunderstood. Meeting was just about this new point system and the returning of cassock of every single server.

As usual after meeting we went to play soccer with the young ones.

Feast of the Corpus Christi

Sentosaaa

After a long time, there i am again in sentosa. Long Long time since i have been there. Sadly, the old house is gone.. Places where i use to walk is now under construction for the new casino.. What i would say is a whole new sentosa... Had a great morning swimming by the beach and walking... yes walking.. what we love to do in sentosa is walking besides swimming and have a good time seeing the day go by laying at the beach.. Yes, i would go back there again for the musical fountain.

Words cant Explain.

It have been a long time since i last blogged. Alot of things have been happening in life.. Could i say, things which i was not expecting happened. Yesterday was Feast of the Holy Trinity. Like always it use to be so much of a fun for us, but everything was different. Everyone came, had breakfast, Served mass, some attended and we carried on.

It is not how it used to be.. Never at all.. Why.. Words cant explain.

Each time i wear a cassock, i never really did know the value of it. Alwayz just wear it to serve and after serving put it back in my cover and place it in the cupboard. That was the past.

Now, things have changed for me.. Each time i wear a cassock, i feel honoured to be wearing it and to be in it. There is alot of things running through my mind. I am alwayz thinking and still have not come to an solution, every sunday when i wear a cassock, there will be a question for me, will it be my last time wearing it.. or will there be a next week.. Only time will know.. Thinking and still thinking..

Easter

Easter is the greatest feast in the Church. This is the day that Jesus broke the chains of death and rose in triumph from the grave and shares with us the fruits of His victory.

Holy Thursday

Holy Thursday, the celebration of the Lords supper. There were masses at 5pm and 6:30 pm. We had adoration after the 6:30pm mass and a society adoration at 8:45pm to 9:45pm. Food was provided for everyone, and the older boys stayed up for the adoration till 12mn.

Holy Week Practices.

here we are .. back to the lenten season.. Practices for good friday, holy thursday and Easter Vigil have started and it have been a busy month. Half of the week, we are in church having practices and training boys. It is alwayz a very busy month when holy week it near, but we alwayz enjoy this time of the month as the practices are close to the end as we wait for the actual day to come and to serve the way we trained. This season of lent is alwayz a best time a server can ask for.

A day at the Chalet.

It have been a long long time since i have posted. Well last friday after stations, we head to benedict's chalet. We played Pool, Bowling and also Hide n Seek which most of them say we are too old for this game. It was also Gabriel's (Jumbu) birthday on that day. Ben's parents got us alot of food and breakfast prepared for us when we wake up. Thanks to them for the chalet as well. Had a lot of fun and had the whole night with things to do. Saturday morning and we checked out the chalet and went home. Glad to see most of them there for society meeting.

Scarament of Confirmation

After 10 years of cat class, 6 of the servers (benedict, joshuae, peter, mark Y.C, nevin and jude) got confirmed on sunday 6pm mass. It was a wonderful day as the bishop was invited to celebrate mass for the confirmation 4 students. It was a great day for everyone who got confirmed, welcome to the family.

Old Boon Keng

Old Old Boon Keng...... a few of us went by to take pictures of the abandoned buildings in Boon Keng. It was all quiet as no one was walking around this blocks. The basketball court, playground and the small garden alongside kallang river is all soon to be gone. Tried to go up the building but it was all locked with big gates and the lifts are not avalible, managed to get to the second floor and peep throught the windows of a certain shop house. This buildings are older than me and soon they are to be gone.. Old Old boon keng.

A day at The Rivervale

I was down in senkang to visit edward in his office. I meet him at 1pm and we head to the condo he was working at(The Rivervale). It was a big condo he was working at. He was telling me what he does and showing me around the condo. I find his job very interesting and if you are friendly and can mix around with others well there is no problem for you at all. I learnt alot of things from him and spend 2 to 3 hrs there before calling the rest of the troops to game on at tampines.

Wonderful week

last week i and some others had a great time. Busy from monday to friday. Brad was in singapore and it was his last week before he left to aus. Had a wonderful time and enjoyed myself.

Bintan O Bintan

Friday morning, we left to bintan and reached Mana Mana Resort at 1pm (indonesia time).

its an hour behind us. We checked in the resort and we were off to swim in the beach, had a great afternoon swim there even though the tide was low that afternoon. Edward, Mark and Audrey came at night to join us.

Catching Crabs.

well, we were catching crabs, small fishes and also swimming again. Walked along the beach looking for marks spec and also building sand castle. This was the first time i have actually helped to build a big sand castle and i am happy about it. It was still early and we decided to build a dam and let off the crab and fishes we caught early on in the dam we build. On the second night, we went to have a buffet dinner at a nearby hotel. The next morning we packed our bags and went to have our breakfast and took a walk along the beach, than head back and get our bags and off we are to the ferry back to singapore. Had a great time there.
